Kathleen Drevik is a native of Knoxville, TN. She has held
numerous position in the medical imaging and nuclear field. Kathy loves to
travel and loves sharing her experiences on this blog. She updates the blog
regularly and posts anywhere from one to two times a week.
A graduate of The University Of Tennessee with a degree in Electrical Engineering
Kathleen has worked at such diverse companies as Bechtel, Industrial
electronics, Inc, ABT Molecular Imaging, Siemens Preclinical Solutions, Seimens
Medical, CPS Innovations, and EG&G Instruments.
She is an expert in product lifecycle management, and has
successfully lead many cross-functional teams that allowed her to be a liaison
between disciplines. She is at home with technical documents of all shapes and
colors and is proficient with a number of software programs including Adobe,
Oracle, Sgile, Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
She is very active in The Electrical Engineering community
including being chair of the IEEE region three Membership Committee, editor of
the IEEE newsletter, being on the advisory committee of the Electrical
Engineering Department of the University of Tennessee, and Editor-In-Chief of
the University of Tennessee student branch magazine Common Ground.
Kathleen has numerous honors to her credit-she was member of
Phi Kapp Phi, Tau Beta Pi, and Eta Kappa Nu.
